What was your reason for joining BASDA?
Joining an association like BASDA provides opportunities to network and share information and resources. Leveraging the direct connection BASDA has with HMRC along with at-the-minute updates, blog resources, Specialist Interest Groups as well as access to industry knowledge and trends we believe will add value to our business. This through stimulating innovation and growth and ultimately improving our product and service delivery to our customers.
What value will membership of BASDA bring to your business?
The collaborative approach the association fosters, along with access to key information and other software companies and products provides the platform to build lasting partnerships and business opportunities. This once again, enabling us to continue driving value not only in our own business, but in the interests of our very valued clients too.
Are there any particular topics that BASDA is championing that you are particularly interested in?
All topics championed by BASDA are of interest to us and, very critical in these changing times. However, offering an end-to-end construction specific solution, the changes affecting the construction industry specifically are of particular interest to us.
What are the current challenges within your industry and how can BASDA help your company as the voice of industry?
While we’ve completed the development of our software solution relating to the Domestic RCM procedure – pending the implementation next year – the challenge facing the industry for faster payment and the prompt payment code is a topic that’s of great importance to us. Having a system in place to control and report on this correctly while also providing real-time information will be critical.
